About Anna Verbsky Sagami

Anna has over 46 Years of Experience in the Arts and Crafts industry.  At the age of 10, she was learning Cross Stitch, Embroidery and Pencil Art with the help of her Mom and Grandma Verbsky. A self-taught Artist and Mother of two children, Completed 15 years of service at Cuna Mutual Insurance and earned a degree in Business Management.

1990 – Anna started making custom stained glass for homes and businesses. She was awarded many blue ribbons at Arts & Craft shows.

1999 – Anna’s first two books were published by CKE Publications. The artwork was designed, hand crafted and photographed by Anna.

August 14, 2001 – Anna was awarded a Certificate of Registration for a Trade Mark for Design-a-Way Stencils. She invented the plastic shapes to help people design stained glass patterns.

2001 – Designed and built her home with her husband. Stained glass windows were created for her new home. Many of the patterns were published in her best selling book “Beveled Glass For Your Home”.

2003 – Continued designing and started self-publishing books.

Commercial Stained Glass created and hand crafted by Anna Verbsky Sagami in the Prairie du Sac and Loganville, Wisconsin area:  Wollersheim Winery,  Dorf Haus,  First United Church, River Arts Building, Reflections by Suzanne, Grace Way Church – All in Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin area. St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Peters Lutheran Church in Loganville and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lyndon Station.

A photo of Anna’s Stained Glass Grape Vine Window commissioned by Wollersheim Winery was printed on the Label for their Ruby Nouveau wine.

2004 – Anna invented the Magnetic Picture Frame & A line of Swarovski Crystal Jewelry. That project led to 38 part-time employees and 60 reps. Her line of jewelry has been sold in 1,400 stores throughout the United States and continues to this date.

2005-2006 – Anna Verbsky Sagami was the designer behind 300 Cabinet Door Designs – Industries best seller! and Beginning Stained Glass Patterns, Michelle McDowell helped with Wildlife. Both books were published by Denny Berkery, The Vinery Stained Glass Studio.

2008 – Anna’s Swarovski crystal line of jewelry was published in the retail magazine Gift Beat for new and unique ideas.

2014 – Designed a retail store called The Earring Tree, worked the store and taught beading classes for two years. She closed the store to spend time with her father who battled cancer until August 5th, 2016. With more and more people shopping online she decided to do Trunk Shows in the Middleton/Madison, WI area. She continued to supply her customers with inventory and designing ideas, this also allowed more time to create and invent Art & Craft books.

Fall of 2016 – Anna completed the restoration of the Stained Glass windows in the sanctuary for First United Church in Sauk City, Wisconsin.

2017 – Designed a new line of Designer Bead Mixes.

2018-19 – Finished two books: Wrap It Around Your Wrist and Leather Wrap Bracelets.
